JOY FEST LA — LIABILITY WAIVER & EVENT DISCLAIMER Location: Primal Moves Venice

1. Participant Acknowledgment

I understand that participation in Joy Fest LA — a community wellness event featuring breathwork, movement, somatic embodiment practices, sound experiences, and group workshops — involves physical, emotional, and sensory engagement that carries inherent risks.

I certify that I am physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of participating in all Joy Fest LA activities, or that I have consulted with a qualified healthcare provider regarding any conditions that could be impacted by participation. I choose to participate voluntarily and at my own risk.

2. Release of Liability

In consideration for being permitted to attend and participate in Joy Fest LA at Primal Moves Venice, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns, and personal representatives, agree to RELEASE, WAIVE, and DISCHARGE Primal Moves Venice, Joy Fest LA organizers, facilitators, musicians, vendors, venue owners, employees, agents, and all affiliated parties (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury (including death), emotional distress, or expense that may be sustained by me while participating in or attending Joy Fest LA.

This release applies to, but is not limited to, risks associated with:
• Breathwork, embodied movement, sound and group practices
• Physical activity and mindful movement
• Use of shared spaces, floors, mats, and amenities
• Interaction with other participants, facilitators, or vendors
• Consumption of food, drink, ceremonial beverages, or refreshments
• Emotional release, somatic activation, or nervous system work

3. Assumption of Risk

I understand that Joy Fest LA is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. I accept full responsibility for any injury, emotional response, or medical condition that may occur during or after the event.

4. Vendor Responsibility

I acknowledge that all third-party vendors operating at Joy Fest LA are independently responsible for:
• Their own setup, breakdown, and equipment
• Conduct and safety of their staff and services
• Any losses, damages, or claims arising from their participation

5. Indemnification

I agree to DEFEND, INDEMNIFY, and HOLD HARMLESS the Released Parties from any loss, liability, damage, or cost, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to my actions, omissions, negligence, or failure to comply with this agreement — including claims brought by third parties.

6. Media Release

I understand that photos or videos may be taken at Joy Fest LA. I consent to the use of my likeness in promotional materials unless I notify the organizers in writing prior to the event.

7. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California.
